Welcome!
The University of Minnesota Solar Vehicle Project
(UMNSVP) is an organization of undergraduate engineering students
who undertake the project of researching, designing, and
constructing a solar vehicle every two years. The project
endeavors to teach the aspects of engineering that are beyond what
can be presented in a curriculum. Our team members' hands-on
experiences add to the many strengths of our University education.

Please look around our website and learn about our current projects, along with our previous cars and races. While we work to push the envelope of technological innovation in solar vehicle racing, we also enjoy sharing our love of science with the community. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
We would also like to thank our sponsors whose commitment to the Solar Vehicle Project allows the future engineers of the world to learn and explore. We encourage you to support them just as they have supported us.
